19th century innovator August Frede founded Condor-Werke GmbH as a centrifuge manufacturer in eastern Germany in 1893. Intially producing milk machines and pumps, Frede claimed the world’s first patent on a pump pressure switch in 1935.

Today, Condor continues to produce industry-leading pump and compressor switches for a variety of consumer and industrial applications alike.
